Ok.  Since my last posting, the freakiest thing happened to me.  I go for.....a long time and don't think about the whole guy thing. (I have so much to work on and get ready to go on the mission field etc. etc.) I kid you not, I got asked out on a date the next week after posting.  Granted, he wasn't on a white horse and I'm pretty sure he isn't a prince, but hey, he's male and HE ASKED!

I must explain...I work at Meijer, a department store.  I was so surprised that I walked away.  Yes, you read it correctly. WALKED AWAY!  He was obviously nervous when he asked.  I started talking to myself!  He just asked if I date.  I was like..."well, I haven't...in a LONG time...well...I could...I would...uh..."  My face was beet red.  I started straightening the shelves and said to myself..."Kim, he's still standing here waiting for an answer...snap out of it and talk to him!"  So, I turned toward him.  I didn't say anything.  I just looked at him. He asked if he could possibly call me sometime.  I said, "No."  hehehe  Then, I started straightening again!  I stopped....wow, this guy was patient.  I told him where I go to church. He got a big smile on his face and told me he had been there before. I invited him to come to the evening service sometime and we could hang out.  He said ok and left.

I stood there....in shock...face AND neck now beet red.  Then, I looked over and noticed where I had walked him to!  The "feminine products" aisle!!  I lost it.  I just laughed and laughed the rest of the night.

Ok.  You will have to wait for my next post to read what happened next!!

Ok.  I know that I started this Xanga last year and have posted only once.  So, I suppose I will start posting more often.  Like twice a year instead of once.

Thanks to my daughters for your comments.  I feel very pretty right at this moment.

I am still single and have decided to maybe start thinking of finding a man.  I am a little busy so I will just be praying that God will send him in on a white stallion with poetry in hand.

That's all for now...I have been advised to keep it short or it is boring....

See ya.  Please post a comment and I will read it...next year...hehehe.
